Once you upgrade your computer to macOS 10.13 or newer, Quicken for Mac will start to update again and you will be able to get all the latest improvements. Most people can upgrade to macOS High Sierra (10.13), or newer, even with older Mac hardware. Check Apple’s How to Upgrade web page for more details.The goal is to provide a stable Quicken release for macOS 10.11 and 10.12 users who don’t want to upgrade and aren't interested in future Quicken updates. We don’t want you to take an update to a new version of Quicken that doesn’t run well or has critical issues on macOS 10.11 or 10.12. As part of the goal of streamlining our development process, we won't be testing Quicken for Mac on macOS 10.11 or 10.12 anymore. If you are running macOS 10.11 or 10.12, you will no longer be able to upgrade Quicken for Mac beyond v5.18 to get new features, stability fixes, or security improvements.
